Get to Know Me

I am Dr Veronika Udvardi, a physician and psychotherapist. In my work, I use mindfulness, SomatoDrama and experience-based self-awareness methods to support you if you would like to connect with yourself more deeply. I believe that physical symptoms, emotional difficulties and recurring patterns of feeling stuck are not accidental – they are signals waiting to be understood and met with compassion.

My Approach
How I Work
To me, a person is not merely the sum of separate parts, but a whole: a subtle unity of body, mind and inner experiences. Everything I offer is rooted in this approach. I create a calm, non-judgemental space where you can reconnect with yourself at your own pace.
Body and Mind Together
My professional journey began as a specialist in anaesthesiology and intensive care, where I encountered the vulnerability of the human body and crisis situations every day. These years shaped my perspective: physical processes are almost always accompanied by emotional experiences, unspoken fears and unresolved events.
You Do Not Have to Be Ready
Élni Lenni Vanni was created to provide a space where there is no need to hurry, perform or meet expectations; where healing does not come from quick solutions, but gradually unfolds through inner processes. You do not have to be “ready” – it is enough for the intention to arise within you.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is both an approach and a practice centred on intentionally paying attention to the present moment with openness and without judgement. It helps us become less carried away by worries about the past or the future and allows us to be more fully present in our own lives.
What Is MBCT?
MBCT, or Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, is a structured, evidence-based method, typically delivered as an eight-week group programme. It combines mindfulness practices with the principles of cognitive therapy. It helps identify automatic patterns of thought that may contribute to stress and anxiety.
What Is SomatoDrama?
SomatoDrama is a body-oriented, action-based self-awareness method developed by Dr László Buda. Through physical sensations, movement and dramatic techniques, it helps participants connect with their inner experiences, emotions and memories.
